Student Scholarship Competition
The ISTTE Scholarship Committee will present four $500.00 awards to four
students affiliated with ISTTE member schools. The application form is attached
and is due May 31st 2008. Applicants will submit a word-processed, doublespaced,
500-word essay on the subject:
"Tourism: Creating Global Connections"
Accompanying the essay should be an additional statement of the student's
academic background, experience, aspirations in the travel and tourism industry,
and the reason(s) for seeking the scholarship. The committee will award four
$500.00 scholarships, one for each category: Graduate, 2-Year
College/University, 4-Year College/University, and High School or Non-degree
Proprietary School (Certificate).
In order for students to apply they must sponsored by a dues paid member of ISTTE.
