Student Scholarship Competition
The ISTTE Scholarship Committee will present four (4) $500.00 awards to four (4) students affiliated with ISTTE member schools for 2010. The application form is attached and is due no later than April 30, 2010. Applicants will submit a word-processed, double-spaced, 500-word essay on the subject:
"Education Across the Waters: Expanding the Boundaries of Tourism & Hospitality"
Accompanying the essay should be an additional statement of the student's academic background, experience, aspirations in the travel and tourism industry, and the reason(s) for seeking the scholarship. The committee will award four (4) $500.00 scholarships, one for each category:
- Graduate School
- 4-Year College/University
- 2-Year College/University
- High School or Non-degree Proprietary School (Certificate).
In order for students to apply they must sponsored by a dues paid member of ISTTE.
Completed essays and ancillary information should be forwarded electronically to roberta.schwartz@jwu.edu, with "ISTTE Scholarship 2010" as the subject, or to:
