Janet Zinck has taught as an adjunct in the Hospitality Department at Monroe Community College since 1989. In 1997, she became a temporary full-time faculty member until she was offered her current position in 2001. Since that time Janet has been operating as a faculty member in the Hospitality Department/Coordinator of Cooperative Education. She splits her time between teaching, co-advising the Travel Club, and handling internships and coops for the college community.
Janet received her Associates Degree from Monroe Community College, and in 1993 received her Bachelor's Degree from Nazareth College. This August she will complete her Graduate Studies through the University of Brockport.
In addition to working at the college, her real pride and joy are her four wonderful daughters. She was also elected into public office in the fall of 2002 where she serves as a Councilwoman for the Town of Henrietta. Her background in the field of tourism has included work experiences with Van Zile Travel, a tour wholesaler who specialized in Charters to Las Vegas, and 9 years with Eastern Airlines.
