Florian Hummel is Director of the ANGELL Business School Freiburg (Germany) where he teaches travel and tourism management subjects to both undergraduate and graduate students. Florian holds a BA (hons) in Travel Management from the University of Brighton (UK) and an MSc in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University (UK) . After working with an airport management company Florian initially started to work in academia as a guest lecturer at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef Bonn. He currently is the Course Director of the University of Brighton's (UK) MSc Tourism Management and MSc Hospitality Management offered jointly at the ANGELL Business School. Florian has teaching experience with the Victoria University, Melbourne and oversees their undergraduate programmes at their overseas campus in Germany. He runs an annual workshop on the car rental business and is the author of a chapter related to the car rental industry and ICT in Buhalis' and Egger's 2007 book eTourism Casestudies. Marketing and Management Issues in eTourism. Florian currently undertakes part-time doctoral research at the University of Sheffield (UK), analysing the effects of a single space for Higher Education in the European Union.
