ISTTE Ambassador Program
Ambassador's are key contact people who can answer questions regarding
ISTTE. Since ISTTE is an international organization, these individuals
have volunteered to accept email questions, phone calls, etc. to help
clarify any issues regarding the industry or ISTTE.
Someone from
Australia would be able to contact an individual from their region,
someone from Germany could contact someone from their area, etc. ISTTE
prides itself on being an organization that is personal and "reachable".
This is an effort to help put people in touch with someone from our
organization in an efficient manner.
The role of the Ambassador includes:
- Informing prospective members about the Society and its mission to improve the quality of education and research in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
- Explaining how practitioners as well as educators from all levels of educational institutions can benefit from ISTTE membership.
- Providing information to prospective conference participants.
- Disseminating ISTTE press releases to the industry and other publication outlets in their regions.
